PostSubject: Dangerous Cargo [1-poster-story]   April 27th 2010, 23:53

The C-118 cargo plane touched down on the tarmac. Over the next few thousand feet, it came to a slow, but decided halt. The rear cargo door opened, and the unloading crew towed out an unusual sight: A large, well-kept RV. Less than an hour later, a small helicopter touched down just a few buildings away. A single person emerged from it, and made his way to the parked vehicle. A lone man in a business suit was there to meet him.

"I fail to see the point in owning an RV if you don't... well, drive it." he began.

"I like getting to my work sites early. Gives me a bit of time to set up." he retorted.

"It's your call, sir. Just remember our deal. If anyone asks you what you're doing here, you have no ties to the governmental powers of Montreal. It would be extremely damaging to the reputation of your client. What with the political ridicule, and all."

"I'm aware of this."

"Good. You will receive all funds necessary to make this happen. It's all untraceable, of course. Have a nice day."

Taking his keys out of his pocket, the blonde haired man unlocked and entered the RV.

"Home sweet home."

He set down the small pack he carried on his back, and dropped himself into the driver's seat. With the twist of a key, the engine roared to life, and he drove his rolling abode off to a nicely lit parking lot.

It was getting dark.

Lucky for her, it didn't matter if it was rain or shine, moon or sun. Her lack of a bloodline gave her immortality. Vampirism, but with an odd twist. Nobody really knew the true abilities of a ghost vampire, and Rebekka planned on keeping it that way. She had decided to go out for a drive tonight, just because. She was laying on top of her parked Dodge Ram 2500, looking up at the amazingly clear sky. The airport was just on the outskirts of the city, and the airport was big enough to fit another city in it, so one could say it wasn't exactly part of the city anymore. O'Connor Airlines were expensive enough, and the airport to compliment the airline had a cafeteria, a whole building dedicated to beautiful washrooms, a mall, and a few restaurants scattered around the terminals.

She wore all black tonight. High heel boots, jeans, halter top, thong, bra, choke-chain necklace, and even arm warmers to give her a more gothic look. Vampires were expected to be goth, so that was the only reason she dressed like this. During the day, however, a lot of humans started on the wrong foot with her. Bullies making fun of people who dress "differently", older adult humans thinking the style is just too weird, you name it. Only a couple of male teenagers had to suffer that day. They were actually trying to test holy water and a garlic-coated wooden cross on her.

She took in an unnecessary breath, slowly breathing in, slowly breathing out. That ancient human habit still stuck with her from time to time. Sometimes, it was actually very soothing to be able to still breathe, even though she didn't have to. She heard another vehicle drive into the parking lot, and she looked over to notice it was an RV. It was very rare to see an RV at an airport, but she didn't let it bother her too much. She lay her head back down and used one of her many abilities to ghost herself, making herself invisible to the mortal eye. She didn't really care if whoever was in the RV noticed her do that, nor did she care whether or not they were going to talk to her. Worst that could happen at this hour was that she'd have to knock them unconscious and drive away. That was usually what she resorted to in public places.

Indeed, Russel did not see her ghost through her car; he was focusing on finding a suitable place to park his RV. Montreal wasn't the largest city, but it sure was a maze to a visitor like him.

((Sorry for such a short resolution to all this, but I intended it to be a single post, and that was it. At least for this thread.))

[[I had intended to make this something along the lines of why Russ is here. Just a bit of backstory.]]
