SPECIAL: Russel's blade is no ordinary sword. Forged in a single day, using the blood of several supernatural creatures, it is truly a thing to be feared by those who hunt humanity. The wielder of this weapon cannot be afflicted by the maladies of vampirism, lycanthropy, and any other 'infectious' supernatural condition, so long as it remains in their immediate possession (i.e. in their hand). It does not dull, rust, or take damage from anything less than an M1 Abrams tank shell. A strike on a supernatural opponent with this weapon will cause the activation of every nerve it comes into contact with, spreading a wave of mind-burning pain. However, should someone manage to break it, it will most likely drive Russel insane, or worse; a portion of his soul was required to forge it. To compensate for a human's slow reactions (compared to those of many unnaturals), it also increases the wielder's reflexes to a point where he or she can match them enough to at least block an opponent's average attacks.

Personality: Russ is generally a warm, jovial soul. He can make friends with most people, and takes quite a few opportunities to do so. Nothing warms his heart better than to maybe go to a friend's apartment, watch a game, and have a good time in general. He's never been in a relationship, but that doesn't mean he isn't open to one.

When it comes to taking down the things that go bump in the night, though, he's an utterly different person. If you ask him what his job is, he'll probably say 'Sorry. That's classified information.'. If you're one of the few he does trust, however, he'll tell you the truth. Russel Wyzzir is, in fact, a hunter of the unnatural; a slayer.

History/Background: Russ was born into an unremarkable family, in an unremarkable town in rural Virginia. His parents worked as the local general store owners; in fact, they lived on the second and third floor of the building they worked out of. He was homeschooled, and enlisted in the US Army as a close-quarters specialist; the pointman in raids on a structure. He returned from his four years of service as largely the same person.

That didn't last for long.

When he first walked into his parent's shop, he witnessed something more horrifying than anything he had seen in the military; his mother's dessicated corpse, and his father's corpse. His father's body had an odd figure hunched over it; as soon as he had entered the room, it looked over his shoulder, and fled the scene. He called the authorities, who simply labeled it a 'cult' killing.

He spent the next several nights awake in his room, surfing the internet for answers, shotgun at the ready. He could have sworn that he saw something darting around the fields outside.

When he found his answer, he knew what he had to do.

He sold the store, packed his belongings, and moved to a currently unknown location. There, he was trained in the art of supernatural creature elimination, and he began his work for an organization known only as 'The Agency'. This didn't last long, however; they killed indiscriminately, uncaring of those peaceful supernaturals who were merely trying to lead a 'normal' life, or innocents who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ran, and took quite a few pieces of information and creature samples with him. Now, they hunt him, seeking to reacquire their lost intel.

He bought an RV, and worked freelance, hunting down only those supernaturals who purposefully killed human beings. He also forged his flamberge in this period.

Now, he's heard, through his sources, that supernatural activity is heating up in Melbourne. Off to Melbourne it is, then.

The following is a memo that is to be sent to all members of the Directorate of Other Races, and any other compliant organizations.

The individual known as 'Russel Wyzzir' has been spotted in Melbourne. He is a dangerous operative who worked for 'The Agency' some time ago. Russel is currently in possession of valuable information that could lead to some most interesting discoveries.

PROCEDURES: Detain. Search. Interrogate. Upon successful recovery of information, dispose of. If the subject is unyielding, more extreme measures may be used.

REWARD: Indeterminate. Will be taken into account upon subject's capture.

ADDENDUM: Subject has multiple contacts across the world. If he realizes he is being tracked, he can and will drop off our search grids for an extensive period of time.
